of a capital project. Capital Incubator helps to fill
that gap.

With an emphasis on financing issues, Capital Incubator
provides services that address all project activities
– planning, working with collaborative partners,
real estate options, design and construction, short-
and long-debt term financing, capital campaign design
and implementation, and start-up.
Capital Incubator supports and guides
nonprofit organizations to the successful completion
of facilities development projects, while maximizing
planning to ensure organizational readiness to take
on growth, and leveraging all aspects of the project
to build organizational capacity for long-term sustainability.
Capital Incubator provides
the following services in California, primarily in the San Francisco Bay area:
- Financial Advisor: Education and assistance in obtaining both short term and long-term financing, with specialized assistance in New Markets Tax Credits and Tax Exempt Bond financings
- Overall capital project coordination or assistance, from initial real estate decisions through construction
- Capital campaign planning in partnership with campaign counsel to integrate capital campaign activities with predevelopment and financing activities
